According to the International Trade Administration, in 2015 the value of exports from the Manhattan area was $89 million and there are over 2,500 small to medium-sized businesses exporting in the state of Kansas.
To help small businesses in our region compete in international markets, on July 28th, Certified Global Business Professional John Addessi is going to teach The Riddle of The Exporter at MACC. This is a full-day seminar for businesses that want to get started in exporting and for businesses that are already exporting but want to learn more about how to maximize their opportunities, simplify logistics, and avoid legal issues. For more information about The Riddle of The Exporter, contact KSBDC@washburn.edu.
The Riddle of The Exporter is being sponsored by Washburn University KSBDC, Commerce Bank, and Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce with funding from the Kansas Department of Commerce and the SBA.
