[ARCHIVED] Chamber Launches YP Recognition Program

Monday email 20

Hype (Helping Young Professionals Emerge) hit a major milestone in October by reaching the 200 member plateau. When the group started a formal membership program earlier this year, the goal was to have 200 members by the end of 2022. So obviously they have successfully reached their year goal with two months to spare. Congratulations to the leadership of the organization on this great achievement.

The Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce a new program to recognize the contributions of the region's young professionals the 15 Under 40 program.

The 15 Under 40 program will select 15 nominees each year to honor and recognize for their accomplishments as an outstanding young professional who makes a positive impact in their community and excels in their industry. These exemplary leaders help pave the way for the future through commitment to business and innovation, community involvement or personal and professional development to make the Manhattan area a great place to live and work.

A selection committee of respected business and community leaders will review and verify eligibility of the submitted nominations. Only nomination forms submitted in the designated nomination period will be considered. Nominees must be over the age of 18 and under the age of 40 as of November 30, 2022.

Nominations close on Nov. 30 and the inaugural winners will be recognized at an event in January. To nominate someone, go here.

It is important to our organization, community and region that we attract and retain young people. We are proud to be supporting these kinds of efforts to achieve that goal.
