HUTCHINSON, KS ‐ The Board of Directors along with the shareholders of Underground Vaults &
Storage, Inc. (UV&S) announced changes to its leadership team following the 64th annual
meeting of the company.
Longtime President, Lee Spence, has been elected Vice Chairman of the Board where he will
continue to provide consultation and guidance through his role as a director. At the same time,
Jeff Ollenburger was named President of the company. Ollenburger, who previously served as
Sr. Vice President, has led UV&S through a major acquisition and diversification initiative,
including expansion into Europe, over the past 13 years.
For Spence, being able to continue to be an integral part of the company he’s spent 45 years
working at, is important for both him and the continuity of leadership. “My entire professional
career has been at UV&S, and I’ve been blessed to lead this company through many changes,”
said Spence. “Looking back from when we mostly offered secure storage in the salt mine in
Hutchinson, to now, where we provide a wide range of professional services across multiple
countries, it has been an incredible journey. I’m honored to now serve in a different capacity as
a board member and to continue to help guide this great organization.”
