Grubb is the second recipient of the Young Professional of the Year award.
Tara Grubb has been engaged in the community since moving to Manhattan in 2011. She immediately got involved in the Chamber’s Young Professional program volunteering as a member and chair on the steering committee, helping with events, helping build the brand, strengthening relationships and providing leadership. In 2019 she was part of the steering committee that was formed to create the rebrand now known as Hype. She was instrumental in getting things rolling with her fellow YPs and has continued her leadership role as Chair till the end of 2021. She still sits on the committee as Past Chair to provide insight to the organization moving forward.
Tara Grubb moved to Manhattan in 2011 to be a part of the Hilton Garden Inn/Conference Center opening team and after three years at the Hilton, Tara moved on to work for Complete Weddings + Events as their Sales & Marketing Manager and started their Wedding Coordination program. With Complete Weddings + Events she has helped to provide services for many events in the community, networked with wedding professionals, producer of the Flint Hills Bridal Show, engaged with KSU Hospitality Students providing guidance and internships. Tara has been with Complete now for almost 8 years. Tara has been married for 11 years and she and Ted have three children.
The Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year award honors an outstanding young professional for the variety of professional and philanthropic roles they serve that make a difference throughout our community.
