Group Looks at New "Senior" Programming

Monday email 20

The Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce has been working with our young professionals over the past couple of years on an expanded and rebranded program. The launch of Hype in 2020 brought a lot of enthusiasm and the group is now starting to hit its stride in engaging young professionals.

The chamber is now turning its attention to another important demographic. At the request of a few nearly retired executives, chamber staff has been coordinating a series of meetings with "senior" executives to discuss creating programing for this group of professionals. Much like the group that helped relaunch our young professionals program, there is a lot of enthusiasm for a variety of activities.

The group, known for now as SEE or Senior Executives Engaged, is moving forward right away on promoting mentoring opportunities.
