August 30, 2020, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Walnut Pond at Prairiewood
Sundays at Walnut Pond are part of the "CoDwelling: Artist Residency & Program Series" project that Prairiewood is hosting at our Walnut Pond site throughout August 2020.
Colorado-based artist Aaron Treher will be adding a sculptural element to an existing structure, designed to attract barn swallow nesting. Outdoor events on Sundays in August will offer families a chance to come observe the project's progress, walk around the Walnut Pond trail, and do some fun, educational nature+art activities!
Sundays at Walnut Pond are happening in conjunction with Open Trails at Prairiewood -- just across the road! Turn at the mailbox marked "1111" for parking or walk the trails from our Open Trails home base at 1484 Wildcat Creek Rd.
August 30, 2020, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Prairiewood
We love sharing our prairie spaces with you, and we want to continue offering community access as we responsibly balance the re-opening of our properties to private guest groups.
Starting in June, we will moved to a new Open Trail Day schedule of EVERY SUNDAY, 4-8PM.
We'll likely be making some updates to our check-in station and procedures as restrictions change, but you can always park by the Blue Sage Barn at 1484 Wildcat Creek Rd., and pick up a trail map from a staff person on site.
Remember to bring water and bug spray with you, as needed. Remember to please leave pets at home.
August 30, 2020, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM @ Blue Sage Barn at Prairiewood
